Recognition Award Description:
This scheme provides fellowships to enable British citizens to acquire knowledge and experience abroad in order to enhance their effectiveness at work and their contribution to the community.
Eligibility:
British citizens currently resident in the UK, from any sector of employment, may be eligible regardless of qualifications.
Grants do not cover the attendance of a course, academic study, student loans or gap year projects.
Evaluation:
Fellowships are offered in a variety of categories, and applications will be judged on their feasibility and potential to benefit the applicant's community.
Additional Information:
Each category winner will receive a grant to cover the travel expenses of the fellowship, usually lasting between 4-8 weeks.
